How hotels grow revenue with Pricepoint

Owner Michael Craven set out to prove Pricepoint's results were smaller than they looked. Auditing years of data at his original hotel in Pass Christian, Mississippi, he found revenue running 2.25 times higher.

The Lauderdale Boutique Hotel & Suites is a 17-room hotel in Fort Lauderdale with no front desk, a part-time manager and guests who mostly book within a week of arrival. Its owners had a pricing tool that was free to use. They pay for Pricepoint instead, and general partner Noel Poler credits it with a 12% RevPAR lift while occupancy held at 80%.

USA Camping Company acquires, improves and professionally manages outdoor hospitality properties across the United States, from the Texas Gulf Coast to the red rocks of Moab, with technology and revenue management built into how it invests. When it set out to modernize pricing across its portfolio, the team evaluated the platforms on the market in a structured way and ran three side by side. It chose Pricepoint, then worked with Pricepoint and NewBook to build an integration that didn’t previously exist. In their first year on Pricepoint, seven of its parks earned $362,363 more than the year before. That result came from the company’s wider asset management and operational strategy, with Pricepoint as an important part of it.
